Book a park or facility

Reserve a City park or facility for a picnic, party, tournament or festival.

Every gathering in a City park must be booked so the space is held for you and a booking contract is in place. There are two ways to book. Pick the one that fits your event.

Small, low-risk events

Family gatherings, picnics, birthday parties and other low-risk events that don’t use a street or sidewalk. Usually free. A small fee applies for power, where available, including the Rotary Park bandstand and Idlewild amphitheatre.

Larger events

Organized sports, markets, parades and festivals; events that use streets or sidewalks; or events that need power, food or alcohol sales, music, sound or tents. A permit and fees apply.

Ask for garbage pickup, bleachers, grass cutting or power when you book. We can’t always provide them, so book early. Check the event insurance informationPDF for what coverage you need.
